FAQ

  • How much do photos cost?

It depends. Boring answer, sorry! It’s not you, it’s all the variables that go into the shoot: Location(s). Type of images,Number of images, Number of outfits/changes, Number of people, Travel or location info.

  • What is the Start to finish timeline to receive my photos?

Once we have confirmed the date and details of your appointment, it can take up to 2-3 weeks to have the downloadable files in hand. Depending on the type of session and number of images, I try to have the final gallery delivered by the 2 week mark. This is for a typical Family session, headshot, or event. Commercial projects could take up to 4 weeks and weddings can take up to 8-12 weeks. I do offer rush turn around times for an additional cost if my schedule allows.

  • How long does my online gallery stay active?

Most galleries stay active for 8 weeks from the date you receive the email. If you are a wedding client, your gallery stays active for 12 months. You can share your gallery with anyone you wish to see it. Anyone with the link and password information can download the images and order prints.

  • Do you offer printing services?

Yes! While all of my sessions include digital files and a print release, I also offer clients the option to print photos straight from your online gallery. If you are looking for a certain type of print, album or product, let me know. The sky is truly the limit! I can make recommendations and have tons of high quality products for printing your photos at my disposal.

  • Where does your wedding pricing begin?

I recommend reaching out for a custom quote as this can depend on the variables of your wedding day. For smaller and more intimate weddings, I offer a custom quote. If you are looking at having me in the OKC metro for 6-10 hours, my pricing begins at $3,700. I have options to add additional hours, engagement session, and even a second photographer to help get all angles of your celebration. I travel all over the US and have traveled out of the country to photograph weddings. Let me know your vision and we can come up with a price point for your day.

  • Do you have any wedding vendor recommendations?

I have several wedding vendors from venues, to videographers, Entertainment, makeup artists, and florists that I would highly recommend. Once you book with me, I will send over this list for you.

  • How far out should I book you for my wedding?

Most of my wedding clients book me between 8 months - 1 year prior to your wedding date. I have had some smaller and more intimate weddings book me with just a couple months away. If you are planning a wedding, it’s always a great idea to get ahead of things and book me when you start planning. I will help you think about your ceremony time, and day of happenings as it pertains to photos. I have clients into the next calendar year for weddings, reach out even if it’s far off!

  • How often do I need photos for my business? When do I need a new headshot?

Isn’t it weird when you see a headshot of someone, and when you meet them they look nothing like the picture?! Don’t be a catfish - show off your true personality!

If it fits your budget, I recommend updating your photos every other year. At the very least, new photos are a great help when you’ve updated your style, your hair, your brand, etc.

Sometimes businesses will work with me twice a year or once a quarter and I find this a very efficient way to keep things up to date and keep content flowing. It’s a great option if you are looking to keep content fresh, and if you have new hires throughout the year, we can update headshots consistently. Reach out for more information!

  • When is the right time to take family photos?

Great question! We can make any season of the year work. Consider if you want your photos to be indoor or outdoor. Do you want a session in your home? If you want your photos taken outdoors, do you have a favorite place in mind and if so Is nature looking how you want it to? I have families take photos year round but my most popular seasons are Spring and Fall, especially if you are wanting something outdoors. Summer is great too!

  • What should I wear for my photos?

I love to give tips on what to wear to my clients once you book a session with me! Overall, wear something you feel comfortable in. If you are unsure or uncomfortable in your outfit, sometimes it can come across in photos when you see them back. I want you to feel your best! I recommend simply elevating what you would normally wear. Something you are comfortable in but think outside the box and take it up a notch. I am here to help you with this process.

  • Should I get my hair and makeup done?

YES. I recommend investing in yourself. You are investing in your photos! Hair and makeup can be a game changer for headshots and family photos (and of course your wedding day)! Go with a hair and makeup look that feels like you. If you choose to do your own, thats great too. I recommend enhancing your makeup from your normal day to day. Keep in mind, we want your photos to be timeless, so just like clothes, be yourself! I can recommend a few makeup and hair folks that I trust in The OKC area.
